This Folk Festival weekend marked 25 years of the

This Folk Festival weekend marked 25 years of the Stump Sessions, a long-standing tradition of music and fun. Over time, the group has changed, with John and Martin being the only remaining players from the very first session, while Paul and Randall have also been part of the sessions for many years.

Martin’s friendship with John began at The Stump, introduced by a mutual friend alongside their dearly missed Brendan Soraghan – their “Captain,” who brought them together each year. Brendan would have been celebrating his 25th anniversary as well, having played for 23 years at The Stump.

This year was deeply sentimental for all involved celebrated with music, friendship, and shared memories☘️🎶🍾
